This past weekend App State competed in our first mountain bike race of the season at our own Rocky Knob Park. Many new and returning members came out to compete and after the weekend, we are leading the conference! In Men's A, Miles Hubbard, James Wittwer, and John Michael Gorum finished 2nd-4th in the uphill time trial (TT). App State is Tulsa Tough!

Last Weekend 9 App State riders went to Oklahoma to compete in the Tulsa Tough. Races were held Friday, Saturday and Sunday under the sun in blistering downtown Tulsa. Throughout the long weekend, the team stayed hydrated with a wide variety of GU Products. The App State team had many top 20 finishes, with 3rd place finishes on both Saturday and Sunday by Coach/Advisor Sean Weddell. Magic Cycles/App State Cycling Burn 24 Team

 The Magic Cycles/App State Team will be competing in one of the biggest mountain bike races in the Southeast this weekend, The Burn 24 Hour race. The team is made up of Clayton Omer, James Wittwer, Andrew Diever-Scott, Zeb King and Michael Koballa, an App State Cycling Alumni. ASU Rider Podiums

 The Appalachian State University Cycling Team’s elite summer program, ASU Cycling p/b Magic Cycles, traveled to Raleigh, N.C. this past weekend to take on some of the best in the region at the 65 mile Berger Hardware Bikes Road Race.  Despite the small regional race vibe, the competition was stiff with a number of professional and elite teams present in a sixty man field.  ASU brought team manager Sean Weddell, Justin Evans, Reid Beloni, and the resurgent Zeb King. ...
