About Us

ASU Cycling is a Club Sport at Appalachian State University and has a rich tradition dating back over 10 years. The Team strives to provide students with a high caliber cycling team which competes at the United States Cycling Association Division 1 level in the track, mountain bike, cyclocross and road disciplines within the Atlantic Collegiate Cycling Conference (ACCC) and at the national level.

Located in Boone, NC the ASU Cycling Team has one one the countries meccas for cycling as it's training ground. Though the team's focus is racing, we highly encourage all riders of any level to join and come out for a ride in the High Country. 


All great teams are made up of great people. ASU Cycling is always looking for more like minded individuals to join the team. There are team dues that vary from year to year but are kept as low as possible. All due paying members are eligible for perks that include but not limited too: race entries, reimbursement toward national events, reimbursement toward large regional races, and discounts from all sponsors. Team Accomplishments

ASU Cycling has earned a reputation of being one of the top collegiate cycling teams in the country after claiming numerous individual and team national titles, in addition to numerous ACCC individual and team titles. The team competed at the USAC Division 2 level through the 2010 Road Season, then moved to Division 1 in the Fall 2010 and did not skip a beat. We have multiple team podiums at national levels across all disciplines of racing.
