Collegiate Road Nationals!

After a complete domination in the ACCC in our first year in Division 1, the App State Cycling team traveled to Madison, Wisconsin for the 2011 Collegiate Road National Championships. To no surprise, the success continued.......
Once exams finished on Wednesday the team of Clayton Omer, Reid Beloni, Andre Vandenburg, Nick Inabinet, Nina Laughlin and Ashley James started to make there way to America's Dairyland for the biggest races of the year. In the men's road race Reid Beloni was off the front for awhile before going back to the main group. The men decided to save themselves for what would come in the next two days and this ended up becoming a great decision. On Saturday morning our App State men were the first Division 1 team to start. Our guys came through the finish with time of 38:47 so now we just had to wait and see how it compared to the rest of the Division 1 teams. Team after team the time continued to be the fastest of the day until the very last team to start broke it by less than a minute. It was an incredible feeling for all, they had done it. The second fastest time in the country and a spot on the podium! This gave them
